About Me
Joseph qualified as a Chartered accountant in 1986 with Ernst & Young London. Soon after qualifying, he joined the firm’s Dubai office for a couple of years. Upon his return to the UK, he joined KPMG where he spent 5 years with them in the Corporate Finance division.
He then set up his own Corporate Finance & Restructuring firm advising SMEs on business strategy, fundraising and turnaround and restructuring and returned to employment in London in 2001. In 2008 Joseph decided to return to Dubai and he has been there ever since.
During his employment with KPMG he was seconded to Welsh Development Agency for a period of 15 months as an Investment Executive. His role included but not limited to investment appraisal, monitoring of existing investments and assisting FDIs in establishing a base in Wales.
Joseph’s career spanning 30+ years has largely been focused on Corporate Restructuring, Refinancing, and Turnaround. In the last few years, he also extended his interest to project finance. Joseph advised on many multi-billion-dollar projects in Africa and Europe.
Joseph has been residing in the UAE since April 2008. He has good understanding of the economy, the culture and the vision of the leadership of the country. Joseph is passionate about making a significant contribution towards the continued success of his second home country
